Zalo is a cute little store located in Heraklion, Crete, Greece, that offers a range of exquisite 100% Greek products, varying from handmade diaries and knowledge games, to homemade cosmetics and pure honey.
They were very happy to accomodate us in a workshop held on Saturday 18 November 2017, where all the participants and visitors were able to edit the map and to place their own placemarks in real time.
In order to enrich the map with their own placemarks, we created an editing application, installed in a mobile device, with which by filling fields they had access to the geodatabase behind the map, thus adding placemarks on it.
The points you see on the map were placed by every person that participated in the event, making it a good example of crowdsource mapping.
The web map was designed using the Esri Leaflet library and the crowdsource app was designed using the GeoForm template configurable app, located in ArcGIS Online.
